Free Traffic for Affiliate Marketers

Affiliate marketing is a powerful business model that most modern businesses now support, and Presearch sees a tremendous opportunity to provide affiliates with high-quality, low-cost traffic they can leverage.

Background

For those who are new to the term ‘affiliate marketing', it describes the process through which a business enables many independent marketers to market on its behalf and earn a success fee or commission when someone they refer makes a purchase from the business.

It’s a great way to empower your network of advocates and provide them with an incentive to help you grow your business.

Typically, affiliates are provided with a unique tracking link they can use to track the people they’ve referred. There is also usually an online dashboard they can access to view their earnings, get access to promotional materials and learn about the latest deals the company is offering.

This growing industry has really been empowered by the internet as it makes it so easy to deploy and manage an affiliate marketing campaign. Most forward-thinking businesses now offer affiliate programs including Amazon, Best Buy, even Tesla. Some offers can be quite lucrative — ex. providing a significant upfront commission, ongoing residual earnings or performance bonuses as higher tiers of performance are reached.

Because this is a great business model for both parties, affiliate marketing is likely to be one of the biggest trends of the next decade.

Businesses essentially get a commissioned sales & marketing team paid only for performance while affiliates get many of the benefits offered by a good business without the need to do all of the hard work actually building the business — customer testimonials, solid products with value, pre-made marketing materials, performance incentives and the ability to basically hand off customers knowing someone else will take care of them.

At the core of all successful affiliate campaigns is traffic or people who are potential purchasers for an affiliate offer.

Sales is a numbers game, and the more potential prospects you have viewed an offer, the more who will buy and the more you will earn for your referral fees.

Affiliate programs are often fairly well-thought-out, and if you can simply drive qualified traffic to your referral link, the system should do the rest of the work to encourage people to provide their email addresses and contact info.

Most sophisticated affiliate programs then have a ‘lead nurturing’ process where they slowly educate potential buyers via email, social media, and other channels where they can connect with a prospect.

Once a prospect is sufficiently educated on the value that a product or service offers, they’re provided with an offer to purchase the offer. Big-ticket items might include financing or payment plans, and as many potential barriers to completing a purchase are removed as possible.

How Presearch Benefits Affiliates

If being an affiliate is really easy because all of the systems needed to close and fulfill sales are in place, then what’s the catch? Why isn’t everyone an affiliate?

Well, if you recall a few paragraphs back, we mentioned that sales is a numbers game and that in the online world, numbers mean ‘traffic’.

Traffic is extremely valuable. You can think of it like digital oil or internet power — if you have ‘energy’ inputs, pretty much everything else is possible. If you have traffic, you can show ads to those potential viewers that ‘pass by’ your ads, just like people driving past billboards or flipping channels on the TV.

Except in this case, with keyword advertising, the people who are passing by have basically arrived at almost the exact place they want to be, they just have one more action to take — they’ve basically rolled down their window to say “hey, I’m looking for a new laptop — do you know where I can find one?” And as the #1 Presearch keyword sponsor for the term “new laptop”, you have the first opportunity to respond, before they can even hear anyone else reply.

So, if you combine this type of highly targeted traffic with the ability to connect it to a highly optimized and relevant affiliate offer (in the case of the term “new laptop”, you might want to look into the Amazon or Best Buy affiliate programs), you have a recipe for revenue generation.

Now, in an environment like Google, Bing or other ad networks that are already highly established and competitive, the margins on your cost of traffic to what you can earn through your affiliate deals might not be great.

But in a new environment like Presearch, that hasn’t yet been mined of opportunities, and where you can get your traffic for free (until June 30th, 2021 is the current plan) in return for staking tokens that you own and can resell at any time, the possibility of striking digital oil is more likely with much less capital or risk. There’s no such thing as a sure thing, but there are glitches in the matrix that you can leverage. We feel like this is one of those.

The skill in this opportunity will be identifying high-value keyword opportunities that are not yet recognized (low or no stakes against them) and connecting them with relevant affiliate opportunities or projects (the ad URL).
